BF1942. What type of Soldier do you usually pick?

I always avoid playing on foot, so I choose Engineer usually, so I can repair my own vehicles. Otherwise I usually choose the default if there are not enough vehicles to go around.

Engineer if I'm flying/tanking, assault otherwise. Medic can be fun, but by the time I hear gunfire I'm usually dead anyway. 😛

Engineer most of the time, if the situation needs a bazooka or just a machine gun then I will switch quickly to that if I can.

Medic or Engineer. I usually play DC though, and that's either heavy assault or support. Anti-armor if the situation calls for it.

Assault or Engineer and sometimes when I need Bazooka

sometimes Scout, sniping is so much fun, love it when I managed to get 14 kills from the same spot, I only had 15 bullets so I only missed once

Usually Ill go with the medic or assault class as I play infantry for my clan so... If I am playing against another clan ill usually go assault as medic gun doesn't do damage fast enough to take them down before they would take you down. If it is a close quarters map I will go medic though because of the smaller bullet spread when strafing. I only play engy when A: there is tank that needs taking down or to defend key areas, or B: playing on a large map like el al or gazala. Only play AT on certain occasions. Never play sniper (but definitely know how to use it).

There are deffinitely more useful classes on certian maps(like engineer on Coral Sea or Battle of Britain), but I usually switch classes on a map 3 or 4 times depending on what the situation calls for to take or hold a flag.
