BF heroes

I hope they fixed the bugs. The last beta was so bad it crashed constantly. It isn't like TF2 at all except that it uses a toon shader engine like TF2, which isn't anything new in CG.

Both - it's installed and logged into via a browser. The binary itself is downloaded and executed locally.

To those that asked - it's very much like TF2. The only nice thing about it really is the vehicles. It borrows from the BF franchise the notion of tanks, jeeps and planes. It has more "open area" maps and such, and characters are "leveled up" similar to the way BF2 works. But all in all it's a more open-area version of TF2, and I wouldn't necessarily say it's as fun.
