Is there a tire out there that matches the price/performance of this tire for all season use?

My mom and step father are arguing with me because michelins are better and I should not get BF Goodrich... help

Thanks,
Bill

Oh well, just giving a personal experience I've had with the tires. I've gone through 5 vehicles with Touring and Traction T/A's and never had a problem.

I've got T/As on one car, and Avid Touring on another. They'll be dry rotted before I hit their mileage limit on either car.

Michelins are good tires, but you are just paying for the name. There is nothing wrong with BF Goodrich.

??? WTF BF Goodrich is part of Michelin.

{Same company} So if Michelin is good,so is BF Goodrich. ;)

I like Goodrich tires myself.

The Uniroyal and BFGoodrich tire brands are actually products of Michelin Corp.

Show them the tirerack reviews. I have the Traction T/As on my car and I love them. Sucks that it's only snowed once this year, because they're great in the snow. I would drive through the yard when there was no snow left on the driveway to drive on.

The Michelins that are available for my car got piss-poor reviews.

The ones Ornery posted look good, but they don't look like they can compare to Traction T/A in snow.

Ask them which model Michelin is so damn good. I'm amazed how many of them have no mileage warranty. My in-laws bought some recommended for their Avalon, and about two years later had no tread left. They were VERY surprised to discover there was no tread wear warranty. The ones that do carry a treadwear warranty cost at least 30% more and have lower treadwear warranty. 45K VS 60K.
