BF 3 slow tonight?

Since I got my rig i setup BF3 and online as been brilliant ever since.

Tonight, it seems slow. A bit laggy, but just as if the scenes rendering slowly.

My graphics settings haven't changed and previously i've played in some very busy servers.

I dropped the settings a lot as a test and still the same. I was wondering if it was recently going from HDMI to DVI and still the same, back to DVI now.

Confused really.

Anyone else had this tonight? I'm scanning my system for malware spyware etc as I speak.

Make sure you don't have any media-intensive browser tabs open like Youtube. That really kills the frame rate.

Exit the game and check your GPU Usage. (For AMD Cards, this can be checked in the Overdrive section of Catalyst Control Center). Does it go down to zero percent?

I suggest this because I once had a bug with a particular Firefox Beta build where simply launching the browser (even if it was on about:blank) would peg the GPU at 100%.

Otherwise, I'm out of ideas. Do other games exhibit the same issue?
