Try SpyBot. When I reinstalled grokster, it included xupiter. Ran SpyBot and haven't seen a trace of xupiter yet.

This garbage somehow installed itself on my system and let me tell you, it sucks total ass.

I have no idea where/how it got on here, but I certainly didn't install it. It's a sneaky little piece of scum.

Sometimes, you only need to visit a page in order for it to be installed - the program will download AND install itself invisibly, without asking anything. I've gotten Xupiter and Gator installations that way. I hate those sites that force their software on you, and allow/encourage people to code webpages to do that.

yup I got it too it only pops up on a page not found so I havent been too annoyed by it. I've had gator (at least I could get rid of that) and I recently got something much worse from hanging around some questionable sites... it resets your homepage (found a way around that) and whenever you type in an address it links through their page so it took like 4 times as long to load pages. I did a registry hunt a couple daya ago and I think I got it, but its very hard to get rid of (prolivation.com)

This BASTARD POS was on my machine for a while. There are about 600 uninstall selectons you have to make to get rid of it. Burn in hell for eternity xupiter.
