ordered rounded cables,they shorted me one.
emailed them several times and after being told by them it was going out the next day,i'm
still short one rounded cable.and to top it off they were replied to my second email very
unprofessionally.They screwed up and they have an attitude?
spread the word,lousy service should not be rewarded!

I can bump that. although my experience was not as bad. I ordered a 50ft cat5 cable from them and they sent it out on time, but neglected to put my apartment number on the address. so i had to drive over 20 miles to the UPS center to pick it up. not so bad but still very annoying.

2 weeks ago and it never arrived.
UPDATE:just got a call from the owner and he said a replacement was shipped
yesterday from another supplier,why didn't he email me about not shipping?
especially when the last 2 weeks i was waiting for it.lousy service to say the least!

I've had at least 4 successful transactions go thru, and have spoken to the owner personally on a couple of occasions...... I'd be the first in line to recommend these guys! If you have a problem, call Robert directly (phone's on the website) and get it taken care of.

i just got off the phone with him,he said a replacement was shipped yesterday.
let's see if it actually is shipped like the one he promised me on Feb 1 that never shipped.
2 weeks i waited for that cable andd he never emailed me to let me know it didn't ship.
who cares about your 4 successfull transactions when he couldn't get my order right nor
could he take a minute to email me about the replacement not shipping.

Sorry to hear 'bout the problem your having with them. I got my order for rounded cables from them, and am very satisfied with their products and shipping. I really liked the fact that u can get 9" rounded ide cables and floppy cables. Makes for a tidy install when you don't need longer ones.

wow.. that sucks... I've also got to say that I've ordered from them on many occasions and haven't had a problem yet. Maybe it's the luck of the draw but I hope that things get worked out. The owner seemed nice, when I talked to him.

I would imagine that your shortage was an accident and that it could have been a simple inventory error that they didn't have the number in stock that they expected. If you told me I shorted you something and my computer said I had 3 of them left I would reply telling you I would get one out the next day. However when I went to pull it if it weren't there and I knew I had some coming soon I may or may not forget to email you.

The fact that he is having one shipped from the supplier to you shows the commitment to make you happy. That is not a lack of service, it is making sure that things are in fact taken care of. However the lack of a previous reply is unfortunate but I am sure a phone call would have produced very fast and precise results as it removes things from the computer and makes them more personable. A call would have also given you a chance to find out why you were shorted in the first place.

I am fairly sure that they are one of the best retailers on the internet who strive to meet the needs of enthusiasts. Everyone has a bobble now and then, it is how fast the ball is picked up that counts. The fact that they are shipping this cable from their supplier to you shows they are trying to get the ball as quickly as they can.

Of course this is all just my opinion and I may be wrong.

djohn,lots of excuses but today is feb14,i ordered on jan 25.
still don't have my cable,and you are telling me it's my fault for not calling him every
day until i get a lousy cable?
the fact he is having another supplier ship a cable means nothing,i was promised
a replacement 2 weeks ago and he never shipped it.if he was out of stock it was
on him to let me know,should i call him everyday and hold his hand until i get the
cable?it is a lack of service,it's being taken care of?is that how you would "take care of"
a customer?lousy service is lousy service.

dood, many of us have problems with companies. if everybody posted their problems here, there would be no room for hot deals. so, delete this and post it in brag & moan....

i was very satisfied with them

i ordered about $85 in fans and recieved it promptly 4 120 mm 2 92 + 1 thermaltake and some other stuff packed neatly also

Agreed, their customer service is crap, but their stuff is top notch and when they have a sale, they have kickass prices. I'll keep buying there.

So-trick is awesome! It must have been a bit of miscommunication. Honestly, the best way to get a hold of the guy is by phone. I live a few minutes away from him and he was kind enough to let me pick the stuff up from him. So-trick is a great company and I would buy from him again in a heartbeat!

i ordered from so-trick before, no worries.

for rounded cables, check out SVC they have uber cheap rounded cables. I ordered 1/2 dozen blue ones, i think they are made by the same people who make the ones for the $15 Inclose ones they sell @ fry's. uber fast shipping too

I too had a good experience with them.

I had only one very minor complaint. When they ship they require a signiture to recieve the goods. I think that is prudent and all but, there was no mention of this (that I recall seeing) anywhere on the site. Hey I work, if they just would have let me know that I would have had it shipped to my office. Instead I had to waste a lunch and go p/u from UPS.

I would order from them again though. Freaking Love my silver 9" single device ide cables for the raid setup! Go great with Lian Li cases!

I have never had any experience with this company. With all of these people saying positive things about them it can be easy to give them leeway. The only problem I see is that they provided poor customer service. Different things are important to different people. I would rather pay more money and know I can call or write and have my issue solved instantly. If my issue isn't resolved by reciept of merchandise I expect a refund of cost of item and a coupon or promotional item for future use. This is the way I treat my clients and I expect nothing less from the retailers I use. just my 2 cents

Is this on topic?
