I would think you should pick the case with the SIDE FAN in the right place? middle or top left

Both cases don't have a PSU support and wouldn't be worth it without it. Good PSUs weigh a lot and it needs rails for support. Aluminum used in cheap cases are wafer thin and won't support a PSU well (you can see it drooping even with the cheap feather light PSUs).

Pay a little more for a case that'll support heavier PSUs. As PSUs are only going to get larger.

Which size are you looking for? Mini, midtower or full tower? And what price range? And do you want addon features like a fan/temp monitor?

Unfortunately the LAN sized cases at newegg don't have PSU support. The larger midsized cases do, but the price range is more like $80 to $90 on the cheap side.

With a large PSU you have, strongly suggest moving up to a larger case for the support rails. Seen PSUs strain the backplate even on heavier steel Antec cases without support.

These are $10 to $20 more, but are toolless, has room for 5 HDDs and plenty of cooling areas -- fan on door right over the PCI slots; blow hole on top (you'll have to reverse it); 2 for the exhaust; 2 for intake. With all 6 LED fans that come with the case in place, you don't need a cathrode tube -- it's BRIGHT!

This is the case I have now (comes with 2 blue LED fans, which I changed out with orange Vantec Spectrum LED fans) and heavier steel.....

This is the case my sis has (newegg one comes with 4 blue LED fans; sis got it without powersupply but all 6 blue fans and the temp/fan control for 2 fans for $110) and aluminum....

It's a little more than you ask, but maybe you'll see why folks l-o-v-e that case too. ;)

ADDED: this is what I mean by BRIGHT! You can read a book near it!

Chieftec Dragon/Chenming clone, perhaps? (The two Aspires Terumo linked seemed to be based on that basic design, but are fugly, IMO.)

They're not the same design. The HDD cage seperates them, nevermind it has an extra 5.25" bay and the fact it has 2 more fans to move air in/out.

And it moves air so much my room is like 10F hotter than the rest of the house. That wasn't the case with the Antec SOHO (which is like the Chieftec/Chemning case).

There's beauty and there's practicality. The rigs that move air sometimes are the ugliest, but rather have a cool case than a hot one just for show anyway.

That first case is flimsy, extremely easy to damage. Seen it in action myself.

My friend also said that the LED on that fan became irritating in about a week, but I guess that's more a matter of personal preference.

And may I also suggest that extra money spent in a quality case is an investment, since you will be able to continue using it for multiple upgrades.

ANtec P160. awesome case and keeps your components nice and cool while also being quiet.
