Between the ages of 30 and 45, do people learn very much?

I was wondering, do most people between the ages of 30 and 45 learn very much? It would appear that those in that age group have just settled or are settled into their daily routine for what would be for the rest of their 'working' life. I know there is quite a bit of learning in a broad sense from when you're born to when you're just out of highschool and then there is more structured and direct form of learning during college. Then there are the tid bits here and there when you get your first job/place and then it would appear you just kind of level off...

Besides the fact that the stupid things you did as a kid you later realized were dangerous and wrong, etc..

Ok, let me see if I follow your "logic" here:
Most people attend college after high school.
Since they are in school they learn.

Once you are out of school, you stop learning.

Ummm, that is the dumbest thing I have heard all day. I learn new stuff at work every day (I'm 34). Just because someone is no longer is school doesn't mean they have lost the ability to learn.

I love the arrogance of college students.

Trust me, you learn a LOT more in real life than you ever will in college.

I learned more in just about every subject in my 30s than I did previously.

It's no fiction that youth is wasted on the young. :p

for most people, I'd say yes, especially considering how many mistakes are repeated over and over again by those same individuals who have the nerve to criticize others for doing the exact same thing they do themselves (aka hypocrites); like a fat man giving advice to his fat/fatter friends on how to lose weight...

Congrats to you, you must not get out much, I assume of course you're blind and have text on your screen read to you.

I said most people, let me guess, you tend to learn well on your own?

Actually, most of the people I know are the same way. The amount of knowledge and wisdom gained after 30 makes the teens and 20s look like preschool.

What is your job? You wouldn't happen to be in academia would you?

If coming to the realization that I was a dumb ass before age 30, I can safely say I learn something every day. Absolutely learn more now than between 18 and 30.

Agreed. Words of wisdom, here..

Yes, between 30 to 45, people stop "learning".. however, they (at least some) gain wisdom...

Remember the most successful people are usually the older ones..
