Winner of ALCS. I take the Yankees.

I win the bet you get banned from Anandtech for two weeks. Of course if I lose I get banned and if I bet against more than one and lose I serve concurrent terms.

No whining to mods after the fact allowed of course.

 
Interesting I thought of the same thing, but, figured I was just here to much looking for an excuse for a vacation. IOW, I pick the Sox.

What do the Yankees have to back it up? I remember they sent Jeff Weaver to the mound last year. Why would you send a pitcher out who hasn't pitched in so many months? You guys got owned by Florida last year, also.

To answer your challenge sp33r, I've been to Fendway wearing Mussina jersey, while my friend was wearing giambi jersey and another friend was wearing clemens jersey (NY, not red sox). We came out without as much as a scratch. A few people called called us names but they made sure they did so once they were a good distance away. So I don't think Red Sox fans are as tough as you make them be.
 
I'm in. The Sox are going to win, so it'll be nice to get Yankee fans off the board for a few weeks. Although, I tink the banning should happen a day or so after the last game in order to allow for the requisite smack talk.
 
You know the Mods won't go for this. They have enough to do without being bookies for every spoting event ATOTers are interested in.
