So what if the advertiser is Kaplan online college. I guess I need to change me default web page to something other than MSN. I just wonder how many people will be tricked into paying for courses only to fin zero jobs when they get their degree. They link to a Bureau of Labor and statistics report, but I wonder how long it was created.

pffft...why do I not believe that?

Well, if you're located in India or some third-world country where jobs are being outsourced...sure.

Well it seems like a lot of people who know NOTHING about computers can pick up a few books... get some certs... and voila they're magically converted in to IT Managers.
Maybe we should start reading some books about becoming brain surgeons... take a test... and voila we're cutting open skulls! 😀
Who says all the money is in the IT field? 😉

That is so true. I was at one of my job groups a few months back and met a lady who had business cards with the title "Web Designer" on them. It turns out she had been a secretary in her previous life and was now connected with a multi-level marketing company and she was selling "canned" Web sites. When you have people like this throwing around titles without having the education or the experience, I think most of us in I.T. are in trouble. 🙁
