Address Gun Violence in Cities: Obama and Biden would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent.

No paranoia its in writing...A new AWB is coming it will probably happen sooner than later IMO.

Sounds like these prices and shortages are being fueled by paranoia, not by anything Obama has actually done.

basically. But his party has a history of passing stupid gun laws and Biden is on record saying that gun owners are crazy.

Gun owners crazy? Well, Dwight D. Eisenhower, supreme commander of the European theater in WW II and 2 term US president had this to say:

"Every gun that is made, every rocket fired, signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not clothed." -- Dwight Eisenhower, London Guardian

umm... in case you cant understand that, i'll spell it out for you.

ike there is referring to the futility of war as compared to the "necessity" to feed and take care of the world's poor. i dont agree with the statement, but there you have it.

the statement does NOT, in any sense of comprehension, have any remote relation to private firearms ownership.

that is exactly my point. you already have a rifle that goes hundreds of yard, but that is not enough? You getting ready for close quarter with zombies or something?

The thing that gun haters don't understand is that some people like to own weapons but have no desire to ever use them to kill something. Some people are interested in military history and like to own things that have historical significance.

And while this doesn't apply to a bayonet, some people enjoy shooting for the sake of shooting. Owning a weapon does not need to be about self defense.

I have shot guns before, both hand guns and rifles. It is fun. And I have no problem with people owning guns, I am not a big fan of public owning guns, but that just mean I don't buy them. I just have this issue with bayonnettes, I am actually more inclined towards banning small weapons due to their portability. Rifles and such, well, as long as you got the permit and clearance, go for it.

More you panic buy the worse it gets. Eventually it will catch up and everyone will look stupid. Housing, gasoline, etc. It all comes down to a point.

How can you look stupid for having more ammo? Better to buy now at decent prices. If prices decrease you still have your ammo that you would probably use anyway. win/win.

But I can't disagree with supply/demand.

The prices of ammo are roughly 3x what they were. Sure you're odd european metric sizes that are only surplus being higher makes sense. But when 9mm at some stores is now 25 cents a round is lunacy. .223 is the same, obviously people went nuts.

I got 1000 rounds of 7.62x39 when it was 10 cents a round and 5000 rounds of 9mm at like 12 cents a round. No point buying now for me.

To quote the dictionary:
Paranoia is a thought process characterized by excessive anxiety or fear, often to the point of irrationality and delusion.

How is it excessive fear to the point of irrationality and delusion to think more firearms will be banned since the democrats are the total control and some very powerful men in power are openly promoting such bans?

But... it might be a little irrational to spend so much money on such things now, makes me wish I had bought them sooner so I could sell it all now for a huge profit.

Remember, a gun ban is for common citizens, the nobility still has them... them and armed guards.

zebo... I know it is not paranoia, that is why I quote the definition of paranoia. By definition for it to be paranoia it has to be characterized by irrationality and delusion.
