Better cooling case?

Logical One

Senior member
which is a better cooling case...I want to OC my CPU a little (not too much)...X2 3800 from 2.0 to 2.3 or so with stock cooling for now...which is better equipped for that?

or is there another case even better and just as pleasing aesthitically...CM Stacker 810 maybe?

I have a Tsunami, for the money they are cheaply built compared to other cases. I'm sorry I bought one, they're just lookers that are cheap.

I can't tell you which one might cool better but one thing I can say, Coolermaster is a much better quality case builder.

I just purchased a Praetorian 730(RC-730) and man I am blown away by the quality, full brushed aluminum case with a slide out motherboard panel.

Coolermasters rule!

Antec P180.
Get an exrtra 120mm Antec TriCool for upper front intake and set to MEDIUM.
Set the 3 supplied fans to LOW.
Remove the VGA duct and duct tape over the remaining holed grille.
Excellent air-flow, filtered and quiet.

Happy trailz,

I GOT A P180!!!! Love it. Dont use the VGA cooler. I havent the slightest clue what antec was thinking when they put that in there.

Heh, I have a Tsunami, and it's probably not worth the $100, but I like it. It's light, the hard drive cage is pretty cool, cooling's not bad (case at 28C with my OC'd Venice), and I think it looks pretty nice. The top mounted USB/Firewire/etc is also a bonus. Anandtech did a review on it and said it was awesome except for the noise. I don't really mind the noise because I always have music blasting away in the background anyways.

For the TT Tsunami, I don't know about the thermal, but the quality is very very bad for especially its price.
The wavemaster, I would give an A+ for the build and material quality and it's the best looking case IMHO, but in terms of thermal, I think it would do fine w/ a 90nm A64, but for a Prescott or hotter, I wouldn't recommend it; it only has one 80mm exhaust.
