These stores just hire sales people. They're a different breed of people. They could just as easily be selling household appliances, cars, etc. Ever been in an HH Greggs? I feel like prey when I walk in there.

If you had an idea on what to get, why would you even step into a Best Buy?
Nowadays BB or CC serves one sole purpose for me: 1. just browse around to see what things are.

Agree. It's sometimes enlightening to see things in the 'flesh' - something lacking and costly with restocking/reshipping charges at etailers. And I've heard that there are good deals on closeouts sometimes though I've never found anything I want. It's also interesting to see who is spending money at these places.
