Better 2D - TNT2 Ultra or GeForce2 MX?

I want to upgrade a pc (not my main machine), was thinking to replace a TNT2 Ultra with a GeForceMX. I know it's much faster in 3D, but what about 2D quality?
 
99.9 of the time they will be the same, unless one of them is a better manufacturer that included better RFI filters.
 
unless you get a real crappy mx, it cant be worse than the tnt2. i dont remember tnt2 specs, but the mx might even have a better ramdac, and will support higher resolution/color depth/refresh rates.
i think its worth it in any case, because you really need to upgrade from that tnt2. even if its an ultra.
 
it should, my leadtek mx has much better 2d quality than my old ATI Rage.. but thart was even older!..


plus it will give you a chance to game some.. my leadtek mx overclocks great..if you are lookin for one pm..😉
