The Xbox will get the first 2 skyrim DLC's 30 days from even PC will get them

Microsoft has announced that it has secured an exclusivity deal for the first two pieces of Skyrim DLC.

The first two add-on packs will appear on Xbox LIVE first for 30 days, before appearing elsewhere, such as the PSN. Details of what the DLC will contain or when it will be available have not yet been released.

No worries, whatever it is can (and most likely will) be modded in by the PC fanbase.

Meh, aside from Obsidian's DLC for New Vegas most of Bethesda's DLC has been weak.

Now if they also hold back modding tools, then I'll have a good reason not to buy it.

If you note, the PSN also gets delayed too, so this isn't aimed specifically at the PC crowd.

I hate dlc and greedy companies that make them

What do you mean i don't get dlc for the first 30 days? Rabble rabble rabble!

Are people seriously gonna finish the regular Skyrim game in 30 days? I get the feeling it's a huge world to expore.

They did the same thing with the first New Vegas DLC (except for that one, PC and PS3 owners had to wait TWO months). Oh well, big whoop, you'll still get access eventually. It's not like some games where the DLC is never released for PC.

Besides, think of it as a consolation prize for those poor souls who are stuck playing an Elder Scrolls game on a console.

Matters not to me since I will not be buying this until the "Ultimate/Complete/Game of the Year?" edition hits the shelves in 18-24 months.

I've pretty much quit buying DLC additions, except in online shooters and certain strategy games. It just isn't fun for me to run around at max level in a DLC; they are never challenging, and literally old after a few hours.

I plan on buying Skyrim, but not any DLC.

Easily, most people can probably finish the main storyline in that time. The way that brethesda makes DLC means that you can probably play the DLC with a level one character.

So the console peasants are getting 2~3 dlcs that they have to pay for, and we're getting roughly 356.976.235 free mods from the modding community. I think I'll survive without $5 horse armor, thank you very much.

Oblivion DLC sucked anyways. Who cares?

There are thousands of mods with more content than any oblivion DLC, all available at the premium price of $0.

I hated the oblivion dlc. The expansions were ok but most of the dlc was hack job crap that broke the game
