Stay away from Queens.

The people are fine on the street.. the taxi drivers are crazy and either double parking at subway intersections or busy running red lights in order to get their next fare.

Next fox complaint.. deport martian taxi drivers! /s
Well, definitely stay away from the "social clubs".

If you want that kind of entertainment.. I hate to say it but Tijuana, Costa Rica, Colombia, Rio, Sao Paulo are much better than NYC.

And especially if you have a light wallet your money goes a lot further too even with the plane fare included.

Not shitting on NYC but that sorta stuff is expensive locally.

Dangerous bike ride with a riding buddy yesterday - to Cobble Hill for some amazing Sichuan food, then a couple breweries and parks - dodging anarchy and nonstop violence with every pedal stroke. Luckily returned with only two minorities assaulting us, but we fought them off. Also discovered some crazy dystopian NYC hard evidence. A 'no dogs or furniture' sign at a park. It's a liberal anarchist hellhole! Who the hell can't be trusted with furniture? Especially with dogs supervising? These people are animals, how can they live like this?

Assaulting you? I hope that's sarcasm.

The crazy part is you'll run into 3000 people each day in the city but it only takes 1 asshole to ruin your day or someone elses.

BTW @MrSquished have you seen the recent news articles where the NYPD brass is basically accused of being a mafia and wants protection money from businesses?

If not they raid the business and steal the money and it's never documented?

Seems to be why the FEDS are interested and when you actually call the cops.. they never come.

If that's their modus operandi now.. no wonder people feel crime is up because either you pay them or they let the criminals run wild.. and we have to choose between normal criminals or police criminals and if we defend ourselves.. then we have to choose DA criminals prosecuting us.

I have to seek professional help for the PTSD I have developed from this thread. Why is there no NSFW tag on it?

Someone needs to make a "beta project 12 minutes of dystopian rural FL" documentary. Start with the bar my band used to play in that had a dock for airboats in the back. Whoever does this, be white if you want to make it out of that and similar places. Don't accept any airboat rides from strangers (this literally was a thing after one gig...no thanks buddy, we aren't going out to the dark swamp with your drunk ass never to be seen again....)

I just ordered something and the amount in taxes seemed off.

Apparently Adams raised NYC sales tax rates by 2.5% or something close to it on everything bought over $110.

WTF?

Louisville Metro Council reads the article and says… “Brilliant!”

One month in, a dozen Louisvillians cited, arrested for ‘unlawful camping’

LMPD - “Let’s see if we can be even MORE HORRIBLE to the people when they need our help.”

A homeless woman in Kentucky was cited by police and had her mattress confiscated and destroyed as she went into labor on the streets of Louisville, local media reported.

Body camera footage obtained by Kentucky Public Radio from the city police force showed Lt Caleb Stewart walking up to a pregnant woman under an overpass in the city’s downtown area

Ok I've said many times on end I'm anti-crime, anti-criminals but how the fuck did these guys arrive at homelessness being a crime??

I truly don't understand that.. is this just Rich Guy NIMBYism??

CBS is a MAGA outlet?
uhhh no. Your commentary is what is in perfect lock-step with the MAGA propaganda machine. Perfect right-wing out of context misinformation nonsense. Could be seen on Fox news and be seen perfectly in place.

Well MAGA does have enough common sense to at least appear rational 10% of the time to not seem totally crazy. How the hell do you think they get people to vote and agree for them?

IMHO that's the left's weakness.. they want everyone to get behind the plan..

But what they leave out is people don't feel safe. People going by "feelz" feel crime isn't falling, they're just failing to report and document crimes because the lazy police never bother to do anything.

You gotta address that somehow without calling them MAGA or some other adjective.

People don't feel safe because of right-wing maga level propaganda like you are dispensing here. You're helping to to disinform people by pushing total feels over facts. You are carrying the right-wing narrative of false information perfectly.

I'm in an Uber going to a party or I post some statistics, but I will later. You need to start to own up to what you're doing. You are not MAGA, but when it comes to this safety stuff your propaganda is lockstep with them. You need to figure it out.
