beta bios reliable?

Hey, I was about to flash my Asus a7v8x-x mobo with the new beta bios but was wondering how reliable they were, have never used beta before, is there any risk envolved?
 
I've had a couple ASUS boards show memtest86 memory errors using their corresponding beta BIOS', beta is well...beta. 😀
 
Are you having problems which are fixed by the beta bios? If no I'd say stay well away...you shouldn't just flash your bios for the sake of it, especially with beta versions!
 
Well I was having a problem with a computer randomly shutting down, I switched out the CPU and Heatsink, and I know it isn't the cpu overheating, so I figured it had to be something in the bios, I just flashed the bios to the newest released revision and so far so good, I was just wondering about the beta bios, though they don't give any kind of description for it. Guess I will pass on it, thanks.
