Olevia went Chapter 11 on July 8. Its business operations were taken over by TCV Group which had previously molded its cases. Can't find out anything about their future plans, but there are so many Olevias being sold it must still be produced. I think competition is too intense for them to continue production for long.Originally posted by: QSnexus
Scholzpdx: Just to note the brand you mentioned, Olevia, I believe went out of business recently. Not sure how you would utilize the warranty in that case.

Just bought mine using that coupon, they had no problem taking it (coupon says regularly priced items only).
Came to ~$495 after tax.

Nice that they took the coupon -- I'd been about to post a caviat about that "regular priced" limitation, so YMMV in other stores.
I'm puzzled by your $495 total: that suggests a 10% tax, and I thought only parts of AL had a sales tax of 10% on items (as opposed to motels, rentals, parking, dining, tickets, etc.). [NYC topped 12% for goods over $110 -until- last year, IIRC.] 7% is bad enough here in NJ, but given the revenue collapse this year, I expect upwards pressure on taxes -- all over the world!
