This mouse is great for claw-grip gamers / gamers with small to medium sized hands. 3 year warranty.

Review

Credit to SlickDeals.

This mouse on its own is usually $70 USD

With the $50 Steam card, it's effectively getting the mouse for $35-40.

Surprised not many people are commenting on this deal. A lot of gamers will spend $50 on Steam over time anyway and that means this deal means essentially getting a mouse for $35. I guess this mouse is too specific (small and targets claw grip gamers vs. palm grip) or maybe Razor DeathAdder is all the rage? My G9 is showing its age though at more than 5.5 years old. I got too used to small Logitech mice to consider other alternatives. My G9 I also got on a nice deal for just $27.

I wasn't in the market for a gaming mouse but I had a $10 BB gift code sent to me earlier in the month so went in on it as an impulse buy. Pretty low Black Friday spending for me so far.

Wasn't really in the market for another mouse but I jumped on this b/c of the steam gc. Couldn't pass on a really awesome mouse for $35 bucks.

About 5 months ago I was deciding between this mouse at the logitec g600. The G600 won because I was playing an MMO at the time.

thats really a great deal. not my kind of mouse (also i have huge hands, huge feet, huge schwanstuker) and i'm not a big steam spender but $30 for a proteus is def worth it if you can grip it correctly.

When I saw it's the #1 mouse on Amazon and very positive reviews about 'best mouse ever used' and upgrade from other top mice, I got it.

The Best Buy web site isn't working though, it said I had to enter phone number but there is no field for it, so I had to call. Luckily they're open at 10:30 PST.

As a claw gripper, this mouse intrigues me, yet I can't really tell if it's for me.

Does anyone know if BB typically has this out for customers to try, or is it in the box only?

I just bought from BB. Got the Steam Card on the spot.

It was out for me to try: Ask for the "game area", which is where they keep the mouse. (not in the mouse section.)

This is a killer mouse.

They've had the mouse on display since it was released at the stores in MN. Grip on this mouse would be weird for large hands. I have medium hands and it was weird the first few times I held the mouse.

My G500 is on the fritz. After a month of going back and forth, Logitech is sending a G502 to replace it. I hope I like it as much as the G500.
