Question about the fuji cdr's. About a month ago I purchased 100pk Fuji Cdr's for the same price (similiar deal) and received a mail in rebate from Fuji.

Am I still eligible for this deal?

If you have AMEX Blue, don't forget to buy it at BB and then PM with an online store, so you'll get it close to a $100 after MIR. Sweet deal for sure. I just can't believe the MSRP is $299 when I got the Special Edition at Dell for under $180 shipped! :Q

<< That wouldn't happen to be the special edition 120 gig WD drive would it? >>

nope, it lists on the page having only 2mb of cache

how about making the 120gig hd deal sweeter. well, for amex blue people at least. shentech.com has the WD1200BBRTL listed for $209. amex pm for $91 back. 🙂

@ Koolio: Currently, you can PM at Amex Blue as many times as you like. But you have a $1000/year PM limit. I hear that Amex Blue will be revamping their PM policies in about two months or so. I forgot which message board in which I read this topic.

The link to the $209 drive at shentech.com clearly states that it is the retail version. The $205 drive at Dell does not mention whether it's retail or OEM. $5 is not a great deal to pay to avoid an "iffy" PM. Of course, you have 60 days to PM, so you can try to PM to Dell. If that gets denied, you can always re-PM to Shentech.com. Amex Blue should take about two weeks to send you a check. I'm not sure how long it takes to notify you if your PM is denied since I haven't been in that sitution....... yet (keeping my fingers crossed, though I may have just jinxed myself!).
