Could you priority mail a package full of the self addressed envelopes, that would cut costs nearly in half as you could fit thousands in a package that would cost only a few bucks to mail? Anyone know?

Nope...each request has to be in its own envelope.

How on earth did we get through almost two pages of a McDonalds thread with no crapping on how bad fast food is for you, how awful the beef industry is, and how you will drop dead within minutes if you eat there?
Amazing. ;)

No. Once you use the code online or present the coupon in a retail store it is removed from the system and marked.

It looks like the bar codes are the same for each $X off coupon -- does that mean the cashier actually types in each unique coupon ID?

can we use printer to print the outer envelopes? the rules only states we need to hand write the SASE envelopes with return stamp. if that works, we cut off writing time half. just write our name and address, let the printer do that rest.

Does that work?

Lol this is cool and insane. Reminds me of when I used to get those things in the mail that said you were garunteed to win a prize, just call this 900 number that costs $15. And if you read the fine print it said odds of winning were 1:1 for $2 prize, and you could mail off for it instead of being a moron and calling the 900 number. So I did lol. I got 3 or so checks for $2. But this sounds better :)

Probably the most cost effective thing to use this on would be something like a brand new ATI video card thats selling for list price everywhere, you could get a big discount off of it. And then if you want to convert that to cash, sell it for full price on ebay :)

Could you mail in a bunch of SASEs in a single envelope? That way you only pay postage on one thing.

If this question is asked on every page will the answer eventually be yes?

Guess you missed wchou's post about a dozen or so up from yours... Just no one took the flame bait this time.

Just noticed that you were the same person I just replied to about the multiple envelopes... Man your reading comprehension sucks...

Ah someone else who can't read... If you'd go back and look, the vast majority of this thread is about getting game pieces WITHOUT eating there. Aparently your rabbit food isn't helping your brain with your reading comprehension. Now go away troll...

Plus the fact that you don't get a game piece with a big mac or any other burger :D

Yes, I now see the post about sending in the envelopes all in a box. I missed that. As for the thread crapping about McDonalds being bad for you, I did not see that particular post either. I should know better to read through these things. Although, I must say that overall it has been pretty void of the whole fast food conspiracy and PETA type thrashings that are common on fast food threads.

By the way has anyone tried to use more than $300 worth of BB bucks at one time to test their rule on this? I am sure this would be a YMMV of course.

I am surprized nobody thought of just picking through the trash at mc D's, bound to find some treasure in there.

Hey, a Filet o fish and they only took one bite.

YMMV, but don't forget to rinse the cup before you get a free refill.

Do you think Video cards would fall under Video Game hardware? I'd say no but I'd like to hear from others.

No. First, Video Game Hardware refers to consoles. Second, remember, video cards aren't just for gaming.

ROFL. That is funny. I had a friend that used to work at Hardees and after so many minutes they would throw out burgers, chicken, whatever and make a fresh batch. My friend would bag up the "expired" food in a seperate bag and pretend to take it out to the dumpster to throw out. He would hide it on the side and we would come around and have a feast. Oh the good ole days.

Question: Do you need to handwrite both the inner and outer envelope?? I would guess not the outer, but thought I would ask whom have gotten these back..

Here is the official rules:

Without Purchase. To request a Game Piece without buying something at McDonald's, persons in the United States, Guam & Saipan may mail a self-addressed stamped envelope with sufficient postage and their return address (name, street address, city, state, country, and zip code) legibly printed thereon to: Monopoly Best Chance Game 3.0 at McDonald's, Game Piece Request, P.O. Box 49519, Strongsville, OH, 44149. Return postage may be omitted on requests that are mailed to a return address located in Vermont. DO NOT SEND POTENTIAL WINNING GAME STAMPS, COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS TO THIS ADDRESS. Participants may submit as many Game Piece requests as they desire, but each request must be mailed in a separate outer envelope. Requests that are sent in business reply envelopes, are photocopied, are mechanically reproduced or are not mailed in separate outer envelopes will NOT be honored. One (1) Game Piece and One (1) Chance Piece will be mailed in response to each request, while supplies last. Mail-in requests must be postmarked no later than October 31, 2005, and received no later than November 7, 2005. If the Game runs long in restaurants, these dates are subject to a corresponding extension.

Has anyone gotten game pieces back through the mail yet? I sent in about a dozen requests a week ago and haven't gotten anything back yet.
