Yeah, I'm after the BFG too. Besides we would only save about $30 if we did get the the CompUSSR deal, it's a YMMV, and I don't think that the PNY comes with NVDVD which is valued@$40. I think we will be happy we waited for our deal to get honored :beer:

I also got the e-mail extending it to the 6th. If I was a person given to paranoid thinking, and knowing the rep of BB, I would wonder if this was some ploy on their part to see if they can frustrate a few into cacelling orders so the ones that paid the $399.99 could be filled first.
But then, I don't know what's going on so I'll wait to see what pans out on the 7th.

Well BB stated the est. arrival was between July 1-7 so it's probably a logistical SNAFU or the like on their end pushing it to the far side.

Yeah got on the CompUSA one for a 6800 GT for 288 Shipped its a PNY which isn't as good as a BFG IMO. would I pay the extra for a BFG yeah definatly, But I can't so my PNY will have to do

That is a very good deal and I doubt your going to miss whatever fps difference it is from the BFG.
I have no problem waiting another week for the BFG order - as long as that is what it is and not the beginning of a stream of notices telling me that my order has been postponed for another week.

Man I wish I could find a non-PNY card (ANY other brand) for those compusa prices...I just can't bring myself to buy a PNY card though...everyone I've ever known who had one hated it for one reason or another (one guy I know cannot run WinXP on his PNY and is forced to use 2000)...bring on the cheap LeadTeks already!
