Best Buy's return policy on quantity discounts applies to this promotion. Offer will not be replaced if unused or if your order is canceled and/or item is returned.

You have to play around with it if it doesnt' work (eg clearing cookies, etc). You can get a $25 for only $20. That's what all the FW are doing.
Try these steps if you're having problems. This worked for me

1. Went to BestBuy.com - signed in

2. Went to http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=pcmcat24700050004&type=category&_requestid=1213 (cut and paste)

3. Clicked giftcards at the bottom, added $25 GC to cart

4. $5 discount was there, checked out.

It works, it not super obvious, but it does work. Thx, OP!

Now, if there were only something I wanted to buy (I really could have used this a couple of days ago when I bought the speakers.... 😉

FYI: check your addresses out, it should become rather apparent rather quickly. Think of it as a puzzle

ok for all those that can't get this to work, here's what i did: (i tried many many things many times, but i think this is what finally worked)

clear cookies/cache. sign in to BB. click on OP link that shows the promotion. then go shopping. add items so cart total is over $25. close window. click on OP link, you should still be signed in. see if $5 off is applied. if not, add another item, close window, click on OP link, etc. once you see the $5 coupon applied, go add $25 GC to your cart. proceed to then remove every other item except the GC, the $5 coupon remains!

hope that helps ya'll... it was frustrating for me, took about 10 min until i did something like the above!

What a bunch of crap. This isn't the first time I tried a BestBuy promo only to find it didn't work. Once again BB becomes WB (WorstBuy!)

You're missing out. HUNDREDS of people from the other forums have already ordered the gift card. You need to play around with it.

I've done a jacked up BestBuy website deal before where i got $5 off $15 giftcards (3 of them), but with this one, I feel like I'm "Snipe Hunting"

Please tell me no one's yanking our collective chain?

nobody is yanking anyone's chain.. try my method in my post above. i just did this about 30 min ago this morning, as did many others (as frugalguy said)

I was able to get this to work by logging in with my Best Buy account then pasting the link at the top of this post. It didn't work for me the first time when I tried going to the link, adding items to get to $25 and then checked out. I think the key was logging in first.

I've tried all of the techniques listed here with no luck. Maybe I'll try again when I get home after work.

Yeah seems like the key is signing in first. Dang this is a hot deal.
For gamers, an even hotter deal: Buy the gamers gift card in the black jewel case in B&M (put like $5 or whatever on it). Open it up and get a $5 off $19.99 coupon for games.

Worked for me - $25 GC for $20, but I had to use Netscape 4.7x...IE kept giving me blank pages even though I tried the "back" button like BB said to on their web site.

I give up. It was in my cart with the 25 GC and it wouldnt let me check out. It would ask for my shipping address over and over. I cleared my cookies and signed out. When I came back, I couldnt get the 5 off to work again.

Why all the effort to save $5 of $25.

Am I missing something here? So now you have to spend your $20 or more at BB. What a deal for BB. They give you $5 to buy something for $25 or more? At best that's like saving 20% off a $25 item, and the percentage goes down, the higher the item price.
