I have a Shuttle AMD64 XPC and I am looking for a quiet fan that can handle the heat of ICE heatpipe, any suggestions?

if i were u ...i wouldnt get one with less cfm...51°C idle is quite high...

http://www.svcompucycle.com/uc-8abs-r-46.html theres a nice fan ...up to 40cfm and only at 26dba

if the fan is 92mm...get an enermax variable one. it can be found at svc in blue or red. it puts out a lot of air and can be controllled to your liking

which shuttle are you using? something doesnt add up. I have a Shuttle XPC SN95G5 with an A65 3500+ (using the ICE system). Idle temp is 31c on a cool day. 40c under regular usage and 50c after running doom 3 for a few hours. Whas is your fan settings? are you using the auto fan?, AMD Cool and Quiet ? Are you sure the heat sink is firmly mounted? My fan is running at ~1000rpm

Looking to replace the POS Sunon in my Shuttle as well. I'm looking into getting either the Panaflo M1A or H1A with BX rpm monitoring, 3pin.

Aren't those bigger than 80mm?

I just ordered Panaflo 80mm, hopefully it will work.
