Best XBOX modchip to buy

So I went to the effort of finding an older, modable XBOX this morning, and bought one and Halo. Now I want a modchip which I can order and get this week. I'm just wondering what modchips everyone has, where you got them, and their opinions of other chips out there, if they were to do it again.


Not completely sure if I'll ever use XBOX Live, doubt it though, so I don't know if I will want one that can be turned on and off.

This website was recommended to me by another At'er Link. I trust his judgement from his PM's about the subject. He suggested (and uses) the Xodus-Matrix Modchip. It is solderless which is very attractive. You have to acquire a bios to flash the chip but they can be found around the net. I am researching this subject myself. As I progress I will PM you my results...hopefully you could do the same for me.
