Best wireless card for development...

What would you all consider the best card for development. (Source code for drivers and such readily available, as well as possible detailed info for HW). Also where would i go about getting source for 802.11b protocol?

The BSDs and Linux all support a variety of 802.11 cards. The drivers are all open source, as is their implimentations of 802.11.
