I like the MS intellimouse, but contrary to what your friends say
alot of people here love the Logitech MX wireless mice.

I've never had a problem with any Logitech mouse I've owned (on #3 in 5+ years). They're built like tanks and can take LOADS of abuse. The MX series is very nice, even the MX300 (which I have, and goes for $20 at Newegg).

Well lets See:

My Intellimouse Explore has been great.
Just got my brother the Logitech MX310, he loves it. I tried it and it works great but I don't like the feel.
I also got my parents the Logitech MX700 and it's very nice. Wish I had one. Feels great and is silky smooth.
Also, a good many of my CS buddies hail the MX500 as the best mouse they've ever used.

I have both the MX300 and MX500... MX500 by far. I have other MS mice too, but the MX500 is my favorite.

If you're into FPS's, grab an MX500. The MX300 is a better choice for strategy game buffs, like myself.

I've never used one, but Razor's Boomslang series seems pretty popular among the hardcore gamers.

The intellimouse explorer 3.0a is the best mouse I have ever used bar none. Getting the 3.0a model is crucial since it has much higher accuracy than other MS mice.

I have an IBM optical with a trackpoint where the wheel is on most mice. I don't think I'll ever go back to a wheel mouse, that petting motion you have to use absolutely sucks compared to just pushing lightly on a microjoystick.

I love my MX500 and MX700.

I'm a little iffy on the Logitech drivers, though. Although the mice work perfectly well without the drivers and apps.

I like the good old Logitech B58. Use one at home and work, still going strong after two years. All other mice feel too big to me.

Logitec makes a nice mouse but the drivers are very dodgy i am going to assume your a gamer.
For gaming you can't beat a intelimouse 3.0a its the best mouse i have ever used.

I had a logitec 500mx and i couldn't keep the added buttons bound
my MS mouse stays bounds with no problems.

p.s. the binding problem with Logitec has been a issue with friends of mine as well.

i got the mx500 and its pretty good stuff- used to have the Microsoft Intelimouse Exlporer and i really like the feel of it- but after some getting used to, the mx500 is a lot better quality in my opinion~ the mx700 is too heavy for me since i like first person shooters ^^
