Best weight loss pill

Ephedra really does (did) work extremely well. A few Darwin award winners felt that if one pill worked good, 30 would work 30 times as good!!1!11 (or tried to get high off it)... and ruined it for everyone else, paying the ultimate price for their stupidity. Speaking of which, are there any loopholes to getting the stuff in the states if you don't live near a border? For those not in the know, it's now illegal in the US.

Is a pill really necessary? Maybe I'm just lucky to have a good metabolism, but when I started excercising and eating a healthier diet, the fat melted off me in no time.

It can be a good supplement to help lose weight. Although, I think taking them without excercising is useless.

I am sorry but I will have roll my eyes at this thread

Unless you have a medical condition that prevents you from exercising, or eating less, you really are a dumbass.

If magical pills worked, neither me nor millions of Americans wouldn't be bustin their asses off in the gym.

I go to the gym 4-5 times a week and spend around 1,5 hours every time. Is this because I have got too much time? No, because I have understood that if I don't burn off the calories I have taken in, I will get fat.

Once I used to be around 20% Body Fat as well... I was drinking a lot, and wasn't exercising at all (this was my freshman/sophmore years in college). But then I began hitting the gym and saw all these people working out. They must have a purpose right? They can't be unemployed / or suspended from school. Well, as soon as I understood that, I became a regular. Last summer, I was under 10% body fat, now I cruise around 12-13% and I know why: because I don't exercise as much as I did during the summer.

So to make it simple: if you want to lose weight, you have to exercise. There are no substitutes. Please do NOT tell me you don't have 6 hours (1,5x4)/week that you can spend on yourself (your body!!!). My dad is 57 years old, has his own job, he goes to work at 7 am, comes back at 7 pm, and he still exercises at least 3-4 times a week.

As I said upfront, unless you have a medical condition, everything is bullshit. You simply need to exercise.

I hope you understand the logic of weight loss.

Goodluck.

While diet & exercise are the two most powerful ways to sculpt/tone the body, suplements and/or drugs play an undeniably big part as well.

Not necessarily for weight loss.

Certainly for building muscle, but honestly not for weight loss in my opinion.

Pill = Bullsh!t.

The only way to lose real weight is to eat fewer calories than you burn.

When you get to the right weight, on average don't eat more calories than you burn, and you will stay at that weight.

Dumbass.

The pills help you burn calories. They speed up your heart.

Double-blind studies have proven it. It may well be dangerous, though I never had any problems on it. Cigarettes and illicit stimulants work as well, though the side effects on those may be a bit undesireable 😉

I went from about 23% BF to about 13% BF in about 7 weeks by diet and excercise. A year later, I'm at 10%.

My waist is a little thinner but I don't notice much of a difference between 10 and 13. Do you feel any different?

Holy bananas, 10% BF drop in 7 weeks? That's usually not a recommended pace, but I guess your body is designed for it.

I don't feel any difference either (same clothes, same fit, etc.) but I can tell I have lost some muscle, and those muscles are replaced by 2-3% fat.

I recently got back into the gym, planning on 8% BF till June 1st.

Hopefuly 😉

It worked out to about 3 lbs a week. I didn't suffer any muscle loss or any other ill effects that I know of. On the contrary, my lipid profile got much, much better.

I monitor my BF occassionally. I'd like to get down to about 7%, but I'm in no rush to do it.

I tried Hydroxycut for a month, but at this time I also made the decision to stop eating crap and to start working out. Its possible that the Hydroxycut helped speed up the process, but ultimately it was the change of lifestyle that did it. I have lost 15lbs (185 --> 170) in the last 2 months and I didn't really notice a huge difference in the amount lost when I was on it in comparison to when I was not. If you are set on chemical assistance I would recommend drinking a soda or a cup of coffee before you do some cardio. That will speed your heart up before you get started.

On a side note...I got off Hydroxycut because it really F-ed up my emotions. It cause me to be extremely on edge. I work in PC support where I talk to people all day to resolves their issues. I am typically a patient person, but when I was on this pill I really wanted to strangle half of the people I talked to. A co-worker thought I was gonna go postal. This side effect definitely wasn't worth it.

Hydroxycut is a scam. My friend knows a guy who was hired by them to be photographed for "before" and "after" shots. Guess how that worked? The guy is already thin & ripped.. they took a photo of him for his "after" shot, then requested that he gain 20-30 lbs so they can take a "before" shot. I believe that's fraud?

Wanna speed up your heart for free? Try walking/jogging. Works wonders.

If you wanna lose weight, go on the South Beach diet and stick with it. I guarantee it will get you results. I went from 196 lbs to 170lbs in just a couple months. Now I'm 160lbs. However, I might be thin but I am not toned.. you're gonna have to work out in order to shape your body.
