Does anyone have any suggestions on what would be the best web cam to get?

Logitech cameras are quite good. They have a good range and they look quite cool. I have a Quickcam Express, a bottom of the range cam, but it's still quite good.

Their website is:

Any kind of web cams are good. They dont have to be very expensive or anything. But if your thinking about getting a Digital Camera in the near future, you can just buy a Digital Camera...majority of D. Camera have web cam capabilities.

While that may be true, the drivers are what makes a webcam suck. If you're going to get a webcam, get one from a reputable maker (i.e. Logitech). Stay away from those other no-name companies because crappy drivers will cause the webcam not to work on your computer. Hope this helps.

Actually there is a huge difference between different webcams. The cheap logitechs are pure crap is you want a halfway decent picture. The 3000 Pro is a pretty good camera though, towards the top of my "Best cameras" list. It's beat out by the Intel PC Pro (which Intel is stopping production on), and the best camera in the world, the Philips ToUcam Pro. The Philips is the only camera I've seen capable of getting 60fps at the higher resolutions, and the image quality is superb. It can also handle almost any lighting situation, and that's where most cameras have a hard time, they need perfect lighting.
