Best Web-Based e-mail service?

I would say myrealbox.com.

Its pretty much been a great service, no ads, no taglines, very little downtime. Only drawbacks are the domain name sounds dorky, and I don't think they are accepting new members right now.

Why not register your own domain and install a web based email service you like ..?

I can do that. Cost $$$ though.

Under $14/yr is not a lot.

Describe it.

Don't I have to get a domain name, that's like $$$ per year right there. Then I register w/ it w/ a web host company. More $$$?

Something i'm missing?
