Best way to wipe data when reformatting laptop hard drive

I am selling a laptop and need to make sure the data is sufficiently wiped off. I'll be using a Quick Restore CD to load WIn95 back on it.

Thanks.

Actually, I was just going to ask this question myself. Here are the 3 options:

1) Quick format
2) Regular (long) format
3) Fdisk, delete partition, create partition, long format

Which of the three of these would be the best?

well he said he was gonna use a quick restore CD. i dont know with my HP laptops, those basically fdisk and format and copy for you anyways
