Best way to test RAM?

I'm having serious troubles installing an OS onto my Shuttle AK31a w/ 4x256MB Crucial DDR. It manifests as warnings about corrupt files or bluescreens. I pulled all my RAM except a single stick, and that worked fine, so it seems to be RAM related. What's the best way for me to test which stick (or DIMM slot) is causing the problem? I don't mind putting in one stick at a time, but I'm a little concerned that the problem might temporarily disappear as a bad DIMM gets mapped into an unused memory region.

seems alot of boards with 4 dimm slots wont run stable if all the dimms are being used

has to do with timing issues, thats why amd 761 northbridge only officially supports 2 dimms (unbuffered)

try this Memtest

it works great and will really tell you if your memory is corrupt or has any errors in it. I would suggest testing one stick at a time as this does take a long time to complete.
