Best way to take advantage of energy

I was peeing in the toilet a few minutes ago and was wondering, "whats the best way to have taken advantage of my pee's energy". What could I have done to utilize what I just poured into the toilet. Heat? Electricity????

Install a heat exchanger to heat the bathroom. You can take advantage of the solid matter's energy too if you install an auger.

Would this require "energy"? I'm just thinking of all the things we do every day and how much energy we waste when it could be put to good use. Like that one bicycle light that is powered by you moving the bike, if you could take advantage of the energy from walking or bicycling, we would have tons of energy.

In that case, it would be much easier to recover the kinetic energy than the thermal energy. That said, the capital costs to install such an energy capture device would be much larger than the market value of the energy recovered, leading to a very low ROI.

i would hail you as an ATOT elite member if you would install a water wheel in your toilet. go for it!

By the water wheel concept...why not just put water wheels inside the plumbing for all the tall buildings in the world...cost vs. eventual energy production hmmm...

A couple months ago, I read about a design for some heavily trafficed area in New York, where the floor tiles would sink slightly beneath the people stepping on them. That action would be able to generate electricity. I also they're designing elevators that take advantage of the pressure differences from going up and down. And in Australia, I think it was, they've made a generator that runs by the motion of ocean waves.

and leave the seat up, and every time a female comes (god willing), when the put the seat down, it gets MORE ENERGY

FINALLY, a way to defend yourself against the women raging about the toilet seat.

How retarded.
But, on the off chance that the OP builds a water wheel on his toilet...

Hey! Here's an idea for you op... *after* you pee into the toilet, scoop it out with a cup, and pour it back through the wheel... over and over and over

That generator on bike wheels requires extra energy to be put into pedalling. It's not free energy.

Assuming the average temperature of the fluids he drinks is room temperature, it's far easier to recover the energy: Just don't flush the toilet! Let the steaming goodness warm up the bathroom.

One of the coolest things about the new hybrid cars is that they recover the energy we lose from braking; it charges the battery or something instead of being lost by friction like with a normal brake pad.
