Should you add a banking account or only a credit card? Should you use your real credit card number or a virtual one with a spending limit ? Can you trust paypal?

We could sprinkle a little "mary jane" in Mr. paypals luggage. Then when he tries to board the flight to Puerto Vallarta....WHAM! The drug sniffing dogs get his a**!

make another bank account off your primary, then just put the amount of money you want in it. This way, you have total control over how much money enters/exits the account.

Then set up paypal /w this new debit account. Should be fine.

Ditto that since Paypal will try to empy your account if something happens...

Uhh, I hate replies like that. Paypal cannot empty your bank account without your explicit permission. If a chargeback is filed against a payment that you received, your paypal account will go into the negatives, and they'll eventually send you to collections - they can't and won't take money from your bank account.

I am starting to hate Paypal because they charge you for receiving money. They make you upgrade your account and then charge you a percentage! After ebay charges you some fees for listing and such, you would except that Paypal would not charge you extra!

That's why I only accept Bank Account payments at my Paypal account. No fees that way.

Pretty sure Google Checkout has less fees for CC payments than Paypal anyway so might need to set one of those up for that. Jsut can't advertise it inside an eBay auction so might have to leave it generic and just tell the buyer when you go to collect.
