Best way to setup dual boot, for win2k pro amd win xp home

I want to setup a dual boot for both the OSs I listed, what's the best way.
The reason why I'm doing this is because I heard WIN 2K is faster then WIN XP.
P.S. If I ever want to get read of the dual boot with erasing WIN 2K and not WIN XP and vise versa.

Create 2 partition on your hd, one for Win2K, and one for WinXP.

Install Win2K first on 1st partition, and install WinXP next on the 2nd partition.
WinXP will automatic configured with dual boot while you're installing it onto another partition.

What if I already have WIN XP installed, what to do, do I have to reinstall the whole thing all over again, although I might be getting a new video card soon, so I might have to reformat anyway.

Wow, that is a great feature. I might try this for 98SE or 95 (to play old games that XP can't run).

Does it give you a menu at startup to select which OS you will load? or do you have to push a key at startup to get something besides XP?

When you boot-up your system, there'll be a menu which you can select which OS you want to use. Usually, there's a default WinOS already picked, so if you don't select it within certain time, it'll automatic boot into your default OS.
