What would you guys recommend are the best ways to setup dual 19" monitors on a desk? One directly in front and one diagonal to the side? Same height or different heights? Distance?

Any ergonomic experts out there?

Are you planning on purchasing a new deskspace?

I have a 19" and a 17" side by side on an L-shaped desk and I'm pretty happy with that. In fact, let me just draw a little picture (I'll post it in a min...)

Here's a lame picture

I find this quite a good way to have a dual monitor set up. Basically, you only need to turn your head slightly to the right to view the second screen fully.

A good, deep L-shaped desk is an excellent method too. You could probably buy a big bit of hard wood from your local hardware store and get them to cut it in half. Make sure it's at least 2 feet in width.
