Best way to set up 2 CD drive and Hard drive with PCI ATA 100 controller

Which is to set up my setup, Got a Asus P4T, and Plextor 16x10x40 and Aopen 10X DVD, and Maxtor 40gig ATA 100 drive, and want them to have seperate channels

Should I set up the hard drive on my mainboard as master or put it on the PCI controller
or set up the Burner on the PCI controller, or another way. Need some advice

does your mobo have ata 100 capability? or do you have expansion card with ata 100 capability? it is generally recommended that if you do not have other ata 100 devices that you give the ata 100 hd its own ide channel, or that you put no less than an ata 66 device as slave on that same channel, for best performance. I would set the other 2 devices up on the secondary ide channel in whatever order you prefer...

my mobo is ATA 100 supported, i was thinking of keeping it on the mobo as the master and putting the burner on the pci and the dvd on the mobo and the secondary master. Just trying to gather some ideas
