Best way to remove doublesided tape residue on my car?!

I used to have eye lids and front lip on my car which I have taken off... there's still considerable amount of doublesided tape residue on the bumper and headlight.. what could i put or use to remove them completely?

Lighter fluid FTW.
 
We use this stuff at work called Un-Du. Works great and getting rid of old caked on sticker residue. Of course it smells just like lighter fluid. Probably is the same thing in a different package. hehe No idea maybe acidtone?

This is my suggestion too. Comes off very easily. Just don't light up while doing this.
 
A claybar would probably remove anything that the chemicals don't... just don't forget to spray the surface with a water/soap mix or some detailing spray when you use it.
 
Acetone on the painted parts, just don't use it on your headlights if they are acrylic!
For the acrylic, use something gentle, like lighter fluid as suggested above, or mineral spirits. Slower than acetone, but less likely to damage the plastic.
 
I've always wondered about this..

I bought my car in the summer of 2003..brand new. You know how new cars have the sticky temp license plate in the back window before you get your real license?

Since it was summer...and my car sat in the sun a lot...the sticky part of the sticker kinda "melted" onto the glass. To this day there's still some sticky-ness and I have no idea what to use to get it off.

Would any of the above listed products help to clean my window?
 
Goof Off. Be sure to wash and wax with any of these remedies, as they will remove any wax where you apply it.

Do you mean acetone?
 
Hexane which can be found in a product called remove which is specifically made for removing stickers from stuff that break up. Like all those silly stickers they put on computers. Why do they do that?
