I've tried that one on my carseat. It didn't work nearly as well as getting the urine odor remover from the pet store.

It did still take out a lot of the smell though. It's a cheap alternative, but it's not a replacement in my experience.

Hmm... I can get a gallon of cat odor remover from Dr Foster Smith for $35. Not a terrible expense if it comes down to it...

What's so hard about using a product that's MEANT to totally breakdown & neutralize cat urine? They're commonly found in pet stores or Amazon.

This ^ but it is expensive. I had a cat issue and you can dilute it 50% and it still works well, but full strength is best. I used a 4 gallon pump sprayer and saturated everything, let it dry and repeat.

I found this stuff at home depot. The bottle said for pet odor removal, you add 1 gallon of the concentrate to 4 gallons of water. 1 gallon of concentrate is $10. Not too bad.

Trust me, I tried everything and Odoban full strength was the best. Natures Miracle is good but expensive as well.

They sell some generic stuff at Wal-Mart that works ok, but you need to use it full strength and more of it so even though it's cheaper, you use more and it comes out about the same in cost.

White vinegar. I remember my dad used it to get the smell of cat urine out of a chair once, and it was far more absorbent than concrete. White vinegar and a scrub brush. Do it once a day for a week or so.

IMHO vinegar is just as bad as piss.

OP try some TSP first to get a good baseline cleaning...follow the directions closely and make sure it's legal in your area. TSP is easy to work with, but a serious chemical.

Then I'd get one of the popular urine odor eliminators and soak it into the slab. You want to let it dry on it's own...the biggest reason it doesn't work well for many is they 'clean it up' to fast and the enzymes didn't have a chance to work.

There is a little alcove in the garage. I did that area with Odaban at a 4:1 ratio like the directions said. There is pretty much no odor in their now. I'll do the rest of the garage later when I have time, but it seems to be working great.
