best way to remove a voice from an mp3?

i have htis song i want to remove the singer's voice from, but im not sure how i could go about doing that. I know that there is no instruemntal verison of the song. Someone mentioned to me that there is also a winamp plugin that does this. Can anyone give me some advice? thx
 
I know that it is done as I've seen movies edit out extraneous sounds. "Winged Migration" is the most blatant and hugely successful of this type of sound editing.

I'd contact the sound editor of that movie via email--seriously!
