<< Man, this is one of the oldest bets in the world. Right up there with eating six saltines in two minutes. >>

I've done the 'one dry weetbix in one minute' before :)

I'll give ya another $20 if after finishing that gallon of milk, you eat an entire box of double-stuff Oreo cookies...

Used to have a friend that could chug a fifth of pepermint schnapps(36 proof) in 35 seconds. I musta tried to do that myself a couple of time before I gave up. I was in a topless bar in Tampa back in '76, it had an MC that would try to get you into beer drinking contests with him. This guy could down a shell of beer faster than I could pour it on the floor.

As for the milk strategy, I would have already eaten myself to bursting to stretch my stomach for tomarrow. The milk should be skimmed and a little cooler than room temp.

Then I would make sure I had an extra $20 to spare.

<< 6 saltines in 2 minutes would be nothing >>

Yeah, maybe I'm hardheaded, but where's the challenge?

1 minute 8 seconds here:( That was with no prep though. If I really got into it beforehand I think I could have done it.

You guys understand they have to be down, right? You can't still be chewing on them. You have to make all gone. If you can do it, more power to ya. Maybe you can win some bar bets.

There's some info on the net about this.. It's called stuffedonline.com or something. It says that the human stomach can hold a little over a gallon.

A gallon of milk is too much in my opinion, though.

I've done the 6 saltines in 1 minute. I stuck 2 in my mouth at a time, and just went nuts chewing...and trust me, i didnt get it the first time. The gallon of milk is crazy. My friends and i have instituted another form of torture though. McDonald's chicken nuggets, when they are cheap, we would see how many we could put down in 30 minutes. God we're disgusting, I think somone had topped out at more than 60.

*squeals* EWWWW Boys are GROSS! (My gal-pal and I dumped a bunch of green food coloring in the milk when a guy friend of ours went for the gallon-in-an-hour goal)

haha .. i love this bet, we did our own version during our college days.. 2 quarts of buttermilk! in an hour... on video. hahahah little butter chunks went flying from his nose and s*tff was spraying everywhere. The milke had started clinging like the film on soup and was hanging from his nose.. oh man that was great.

um, oh yeah.. good luck doode.. haha.. skim milk is your only chance.

btw (we let him puke and as long as he finished, he kept the cash for his valiant effort)

I've never tried it with milk, but I bet I could do it. On the floor I lived in in the dorm at college every year we'd have the "Kool-Aid Drink-Off." Basically every guy on the floor drank as much Kool-Aid as possible. We had rounds, like the first round was a quart, then another, then smaller quantities, but we drank until the second to last guy puked or quit. I won two years in a row and set the record. Wanna know the record..........2.39 gallons! Yep, in about an hour and a half or so. We were allowed to eliminate some of it (#1 and/or #2). I think if someone bet me to do the milk thing, I could handle it no problem. :D

I just tried the 6 saltine thing...

I ate 6, one at a time, whole, in 1 minute and 29 seconds without breaking a sweat.
Can anyone beat me? :D

Edit: Oh yeah... and I didn't drink anything before, during or after.

I think you should put your money where your mouth is :)
The difference between kool-aid and milk is that kool-aid is water and sweetener. Milk is fat. The human body can't digest milk as quickly, which is why it's so hard.
