best way to package/ship a proc?

I have the original box and green holder thingy, but no longer have the little plastic case and piece of foam. You guys have any ideas on what i can use to ship a x2 4200 processor safely?

The most important thing IS the little foam and plastic case... you can safely put that in a box full of peanuts...

Without it, I don't know. Do you have access to any other foam? If you gentle wrap it in bubble wrap and tape that bubble wrap around it where it is touching firmly but not pressing against/bending the pins then you should be ok to suspend that in a box full of peanuts/bubble wrap.

My recent overstock opterons came in a piece of thick squishy foam folded in half over them, and then in a small little .5" x 1.5"x1.5" box that fit them perfect, then inside of another box with packing.


No problems at all with them.
