I have the KK266 and a T-bird 850MHz. I want to boost it to 133MHz FSB, but I can't just switch to 133, becasue my default multiplier will cause the core frequency to be too high to POST. SO, please give me some help on what to do.... Here is what I think I need to do right now to get it to work (I know my CPU will run up to at least 933MHz at 1.75V.. I've tried that.. but at 100FSB):

1) Go in bios, set multiplier to a low number... like or 7

2) Connect L1 bridges to unlock multiplier

3) Connect some L7 bridges to set default core voltage to 1.85 (Bios doesn't seem to be able to change this reliably... I crash sometimes when I've set it to anything other than default).

4) Jumper MB to the 133MHz setting.

5) Turn on, and now I should be running at 133MHzFSB and 133 x 7 core = 933MHz.

Or, will I have to do something with L1 to do a "permanent" change of my multiplier? I hope not, becuase I want to play around with different FSB and core speeds. I hope I can use 1-5.

Please advise. Thanks.
