Best way to mount PSU in Antec 300?

Putting together one of my Q6600 quad-core rigs, that I bought the parts for some months ago. Using Antec 300 cases and Antec EarthWatts 650 PSUs.

Wondering which way I should orient the PSU. When I built my F@H rig, I used an Antec 300 and an EarthWatts 650, and I put it in fan-side down, because that was the only way that I saw that it would fit. Now I'm noticing that the PSU mount holes are actually universal, so I'm wondering if I should put fan-side up.

Wondering which is worse for dust, and overall cooling.

There is a space of nearly a half-inch on the bottom (there's a spacer), so if I put it PSU fan side down, there is still plenty of room for air intake.

That's what I ended up doing, intake on top, because that allowed the wires to run over on top of the GPUs. Unsure if my ATX12V cable would have reached properly if I had oriented it the other way.

I was considering modding an intake hole in the bottom of the case and mounting the PSU with fan down, until running into that 12v wire issue as well. Also, there's some rivets down there I didn't want to mess with.

(in my situation I've got the case horizontal so I wouldn't be sucking up dust off the ground)

p.s. cheapest 8pin 12v extensions I found were at SVC:

You can find 4pin all over the place though.
