Hey everyone.

I need to learna language as a personal thing I want to do.

I was curious what you think is the best way to do it on your own?

I have heard from someone who spoke 8 languages the best way for him was to hire someone to do 1 on 1 work with you every day.

What do you suggest?

Well to start with Spanish.

I have taken some Italian and French. But I just plain need to learn spanish.

yes. take some classes and take it fairly seriously. then find someones who fluent and converse for 1+ hours/day. every day.

I'm actually going to be doing mission work at a spanish speaking mission for the next two years. I get two months of classroom sort of stuff for it, then I'll be speaking it 24/7 for the rest of the two years. I think I'll get a handle on it...

Take courses. Join conversation groups. Visit local cultural centres of any Spanish-speaking culture. Make Spanish-speaking friends. Date a Spanish speaker.

Max: They're gonna cancel latin. They've gotta make room for japanse.
Miss Cross: That's a shame because all the romance languages are based on latin.

spanish shouldn't be that hard now. With Italian and french under your belt, should be a breeze.
