I second the butt skin grafting. Also, don't touch your face. I have the habit of resting my head, specifically the mouth area on my hand and I would get pimples around the mouth. So now I just pull my shirt up and have it between my mouth and hand. But people think I farted and am holding my breath.

I use Clearasil face wash ($5), then go over my face with a alcohol swab ($3 for a box of 100), and then use that Clearasil benzoyl peroxide stuff($6 for bottle)! I found that the benzoyl peroxide cream works just as good as Accutane, without all the pain and dryness. Also Accutane is not worth the side effects, including; crystalized bladder, infertility, bone pain (i had back pains) among several other things. I used Accutane for a while, but it hurt way too much, but I already live in the desert, then to dry me out more was just painful! My lips would crack and bleed and even lip balm (specialized kind) would not last long. Since I started doing those 3 steps my face has cleared up tremendously and it is way cheaper than any precription medication cream or pill that I have ever taken, and I noticed results within two days.

isn't that back when they thought acne was caused by eating too much candy/chocolate?

For me, I had to quit washing my face. I worked so hard at keeping it clean (not really, I washed it once a day) and it broke out still. So I quit washing, except once every week or two. Excercise helps since it clears out the pores. Cetaphil is a good moisturizer since it doesn't contain any crap that will clog pores. It just takes time to get to know your skin. Also, digging and poking at potential zits is what makes your face red.

Splash some Hydrochloric Acid on your face and it'll clean that acne right up.

if the over the counter stuff don't work, go see a dermatologist. accutane will be the last ditch effort because of it's severe side effects (and the whole supposed possilbe depression thing). none of the anti-biotic type things didn't work for me. accutane was the key. and now just some benzaclin when i need it.

i just have more of an occurance of it on the back of my head... but my dermatologist says it's not acne, soemthin else.

and yes, change your pillow cases/sheets often.

i've started using Neutrogena Oil-free Acne Wash. Is that any good? the past few days i've been using it, and my face feels smooth, silky, and clean after using it :)
