Hahaha I like your name ayashii kaibutsu. But yea, I think grinding/farming is pretty good, and so are exploiting your professions + AH.

low levels do 2 gathering professions

then at higher levels switch to something else

just loot and sell everything. dont buy every spell. dont upgrade your equip every level.

SM is kinda iffy... I get about 15g for a 30 minute run through the place, and then there's the hassle of resetting the instance if you want to do it again immediately. I just check both AHs often, buying anything I see a good deal on and reselling it. Don't have epic mount yet, but I would if I hadn't bought some nice gear.

Honestly, it's not any game profession. Play the auction house!

Buy low, sell high. It takes time, but no more than digging around for materials to make stuff to sell...

You also need to have decent economic and business sense to do it properly. Some people keep paper notes. I simply focus on certain items and keep track of good buying prices in my head, then post for higher prices when the AH is low on stock.

I also make decent gold with Alchemy, but I don't like doing herb runs, so I can't often put many potions on the AH.

Many alchemists find that selling the herbs direct will yield more gold than the potions. It all depends on the economy on your server.

Farm mobs for junk and sell it.

Yea, selling grey items to npcs can be quite profitable.

When I hit 60 I had > 900g.

lvl 57...100g....

300G @ lvl 40 pally, free mount and did dual gathering (Skinning and Mining). Sold everything i got. I did skip a lil on the armor. I had been using stuff that i got for quests. Did a poll and when i was lvl 30, the lvl 30 leather wearers had way more armor than i did. You can get away with this on the PvE server ;)

i wonder how those ebayers get 100g for almost every server? they can't possibly have like lvl 60 chars on each realm.

sure they can...

doesnt take long

there are entire groups of people that do this for a living..

24/7 tag teaming chars doing nothing but farming gold and purple items to sell on AHs..

there are at least 6 we know of on my server alone..
there was a whole thread on the WoW boards across all servers that had the same named L60 paly on every server doing the exact same thing farming in 1 zone...

I just can't stand the scum that buy ALL of a particular item and then up the price. For this reason I doubt I will ever play the AH market, just because I don't want to ever be mentioned in the same sentence as these jerks.
