Best way to get accurate temp readings with a Neo2 Plat?

Is there a certain program I can download or anything that I can do to make sure my temp readings are correct? I hear that the Neo2 doesn't report them accurately.

MBM5 doesn't release any new versions, that's correct. It will still work if you set it up for your motherboard manually. I use it with my neo2 and swear by it.

icepik,

Can you point me to a guide for doing this, for the Neo2? Which sensors to choose, etc.

Thx

I'm also interested in using MBM, but I also don't know how to configure it to work for the Neo2.

I get the strangest temps with my Neo2 and Corecell. Whenever I first start the computer up it idles at 42C, but when I put it to stand-by and start it up again, it idles at 30C. Without fail, every time.

Use the Original Neo in the options.

Then set the sensor to windiode2 i believe, or something real similiar to that, as i cant see it right now to tell you exactly.

I like speedfan over MBM5 merely due to its simplicity. It still shows most of the same information, plus it will automatically detect your motherboard sensors for you. Supposedly, it lets you control your fan speeds as well, but I've never gotten that to work. It's a good monitoring tool, regardless.
