You obviously never owned a jeep, no room under the front seats at all and about 2.5-3" under the rear in a TJ. You couldn't fit a 6x9 in a cardboard box under the rear seat. I have my amps under there and it's really really tight.

Ironically I have owned two! A WJ and an XJ, but not a TJ
