best way to cook chicken breast with bacon wrapped around it?

I wrap the bacon around the thin portion of the meat and hold it down with a toothpick if I have too. This is terrific with a good BBQ sauce and grilled. Try to use a low flame though otherwise the bacon will char.

I don't wrap them in bacon. I cook up the bacon in a pan, leave the grease, drop in some thyme, then lay in the breasts. Grab some toasted white bread, mayo, lettuce, & tomato, & you have a tasty chicken club. 😀

I am going to try that. 🙂

Disgusting. Why would you contaminate chicken with bacon strips? Save the bacon for eggs and toast.
Uh, have you ever had a Chicken Club?

Bacon goes excellent with chicken. Mmmm.

Bacon cooks really fast on the grill. I'd cook the chicken by itself and then put the bacon on it once the chickens is pretty much done. THen put it back on just enough for the bacon to cook and you're done.

That's what I would have to do also.

If you have a grill worth a sh!t, you could turn the vents(temperature) down, and let things smolder for a while. Mmm. I bet that would be really good.

I would definatly grill the whole breast with bacon for sure.
And, for those saying it would taste bad, the bacon infuses the chicken with a great smoky flavor. after it is done grilling you can toss the bacon out if you don't want to eat it and still have that great flavor!

Throw the bacon out? :|x777

Shame on you, Lolz 😉

I'd wrap it in bacon and crisp it up in the pan. Than cook/finish the chicken it in a 400 degree oven. Also, try the same dish but substitute proscuitto.

I take a chicken breast and beat it with a meat tenderizer until its about half as thin as it was. Then put some cheese and chopped up jalapenos on it and roll it up and wrap some bacon around it and use some water soaked toothpicks to hold it all together. Then toss it on the grill and baste it with some Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce when they're about half way done.
